I don't think that it's possible.
I think that - if he lived - he was a man who attained Unity with the World-soul (which is the Christ, in my opinion), or maybe even with the One, but i don't think it's possible for a man to be a God in the sense which i think you mean. Peace, Love, & Light

Jesus was Father (creator) son (creation) and Holy Ghost (creative power) just as we all are.

I don't believe so simply because a son of God is not God. However I do know some women that are fully female yet appear to be goddesses as well and expecting to be treated as such. |

Jesus, Man or God?
Just a man.....a man who knew better. But I would like to borrow just a little from RevKathyV's answer.

Baha'i view of Jesus
The Baha'i view of Jesus is that He was a Manifestation of God and like a Perfect Mirror reflected the attributes of God... God Himself is not incarnated in our belief anymore than the sun descends to the earth...which would be a cosmic catastrophe for us...but the sun can be reflected perfectly in a highly polished mirror as in the solar telescopes. So to be around Jesus we believe was to behold the Divine in Him and that's where we believe people confused the Image with the Mirror and began worshipping the Mirror rather than what was reflected in it!

I doubt it, but then I have doubts that there's a creator-god. In Judaism, the belief is that God is not corporal and, therefore, God would not show up as a person (Adam & Eve's "seeing" god is not taken literally). God, however, might "show up" in something, such as the fire in the burning bush. It is stated in Torah that if one could see God, they would die. In Buddhism, there's some doubts that deities exist (Theravada, which I lean towards in this specific area) or that they play only minor roles (Mahayana). Therefore, even if Jesus was somehow a "deity" of some type, this wouldn't really amount to much. However, what Jesus may have taught could be extremely valuable. One does not have to be a deity to generate some sound ideals. Shalom, Vern |

This is how I understand it too. Jesus had no ego, nothing to block the expression of love or Spirit, so he was an example of a perfect instrument through which God worked. Put another way, he saw the higher unity behind appearances and tried to communicate it to us. That's what "reason" tells me, anyway..... ![]() |

" It is stated in Torah that if one could see God, they would die." -------- That is the first time l have heard of that and l certainly don't doubt that it is there . In seeing that for the first time , my first feelings is that , as many believe , that God is 'everywhere' meaning that we all see God all the time and are born this way but some grow up to deny it , for whatever reason . In that concept , whatever , we do see that yes we all see God and yes we all die . The 'time' factor measuremeant is not valid because time is only a manifestation , and whether we die immediately or later , we all see God if that statement is true , suggesting that we will die if we see God ,, suggesting that since we all die we must all see God . |
