The Joshua Project

Quote:
Joshua Project
Our Purpose ... to spread a passion for the supremacy of GOD in all things for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ.
Our Mission ... to highlight the people groups of the world that have the least Christian presence in their midst and to encourage pioneer church-planting among every ethnic people group.

Joshua Project
Popl in unreached People Groups 2.68 billion
% Popl in unreached People Groups 40.8 %

What do you think of this project? What does trying to convert the whole world to Christianity do for the world relations?

What do i think of it?.... an incredible arrogance to inflict one's own religion and belief-system upon others.

Especially others who already have a perfectly valid religion or belief-system.

Ditto to Don's Ditto.

But it's OK, because some souls are still in that phase of fear-based/authoritarian religion - they'll get over it, sooner or later. There are so many contradictions in the Christian mainstream theology, of which this is one. If God is indeed the All in All, omnipresent, all-powerful, etc., why isn't He capable of "saving" everyone Himself?

To believe that someone needs to be saved is to believe something is lesser than perfect. How could God (perfection itself) create anything lesser than perfection?
