Very nice, but essentially meaningless when it comes to trying to figure out who YOU are. I am the son of my father. My brothers are all the sons of my father. Are we, then, the same person? Is there anything whatever which differentiates us? Is there any point at all in trying to live different lives, if we are each -- not similar, not related but -- THE SAME PERSON? Jesus was the Holy Son of God. Are you Jesus?

Your answer seems to say a great deal, seems to say something of importance, but it says absolutely nothing about YOU. It defines YOU in terms of something or somebody else. I would personally find that very unsatisfying. I like having my own existence, and try to work out who I am, not who's offspring I am, which provides no essential meaning to my life other than context.
Quote:
"What meaning and/or purpose does my existence have, if any?"
LOVE Unity Peace CREATION
Then the best possible thing to do is sit perfectly still and do absolutely nothing but love (though not love something or somebody else, since that is always disruptive to peace). Enjoy!
Quote:
"Where am I going, or will I know nothing after my life as I knew nothing before it?"
I am ALL that IS for eternity - there is no beginning and there is no end
Once again, a very big statement, devoid of any meaning that can have anything whatever to do with YOU and YOUR life.
Quote:
"How shall I live, while I live?"
In the Golden Light of LOVE for eternity

LOVE IS LIFE
as
GOD IS LOVE

A Love not of this World
Very nice, but how, exactly, do you live your life in the "Golden Light of LOVE?"

You love to speak in very large and impressive platitudes, but I can't see how those large platitudes impact you when you get up in the morning to face a new day actually in this world -- because it is in this world that you exist now, no matter how you try and will yourself into eternal bliss. It's here and now that who you are at the moment plays itself out, in loving and fighting with your partner, in satisfying or pissing off your customers, in trying to pay for the house and car, and have enough left over for some simple, earthly pleasures -- and still satisfy all of your spiritual needs at the same time.

You may imagine to yourself all that you have said, but if what you have said were true, then surely the greatest irony of all is that you were created (at least for now) in this physical form and the only purpose you can think of for that physical creation is to yearn for what it is not.

Strange.

Tonyamendola has a spectacular aura aboutTonyamendola has a spectacular aura aboutTonyamendola has a spectacular aura about

You assume some things EH

You assume God created us to live in this realm we call reality - Is that so ?
Thats a very Religious Idea

Yes it appears that I like you walk about in "form"

Yes we are all the SAME

The marriage spoken of by Jesus is the marrying of our minds with his
To become ONE - The SON

So lets look at your questions and where i can i will answer with actual circumstances as you are right - it appears impossible on first glance and the benefits seems at best grey and distant

To sit perfectly still and simply LOVE
Sure - why not - Isnt the expereince of Love enough ?
The Love you speak of as disruptive is not the Love I speak about - LOVE asks for nothing - its not sacrifice either - Love simply Loves because in it is all meaning and all value

So I awake in the Morning and I remind myself of what I am
I look upon all as my equals and where I can offer Love - via time speaking, a smile, gentleness
I dont fight with my wife nor have I in 12 years - we love each other and consider each other - therefore there is no need to argue and no need to hide fears or anything else - there is nothing to fight over
In truth my wife is myself as much as I am

I dont piss off my Customers - If things go wrong i am honest, if they are upset I speak to them, if they are angry i smile within - its just a call for love
I havent had anyone angry at me for a long long time

Paying for the house = well while we can pay for it we pay - As a son of God I have no lack need or wants - i have been homeless with a pregnant wife - it makes no difference when you have "everything"

Earthly pleasures - An eternal being and earthly pleasures ? ?

The greatest irony is that "we" have created our World and then deny our part in it - most blaming God for everything
