I believe so. And I believe we lose alot of our understanding of his enlightenment because the people who wrote about him, were not enlightened, and didn't necesssarily have the understanding to properly capture his enlightened understanding into words.

I agree with this. Jesus was enlightened as was Buddha and many others...and so are many people walking down the street with you everyday.

I agree with this. Jesus was enlightened as was Buddha and many others...and so are many people walking down the street with you everyday.

I think there is no one who is not enlightened, if you exsist you are enlightened.......

I think i hear what your saying...but this manner still implys levels...as greater lesser...knowing more or less...it is but the human understanding we have levels...we have this need to chart ...to fit what our personal knowledge allows us to understand....to graph where another fits on this chart or there understanding according to ours..when the location ..spot...identification...what word one might wish to use..is just as it should be...truely perfect aside from anothers personal understanding of that spot place being....etc....much of conversation on the boards often come accross as another not being there yet if they dont relate....hehe...relateing and being i think are mere comforts of communication as humans are means of furthering are walk on the earth plain....

'enlightened" is an interesting word...In the Baha'i view Jesus was a Manifestation of God.. so in that sense we believe the Sun of Truth which is ever illuminating was fully manifested in Him and so He was "enlightened"!
