prophets

This morning I was listening to a song and one particular sentence has gotten my attention.
It says, "...And the prophets are preaching to make sense of the science..."
Interesting.
What do you think?

The people I most respect that some may consider prophets, don't preach. I'm guarded towards those people I hear preaching. Hopefully for me at least, science under these circumstances will remain sensible.

I agree with you, brother almost 100%.
But, we are talking about the song, Nick, the song.
May be we should look deeper?

Pinski my friend...

Maybe you can post the song somehow if it's say on youtube .. I haven't heard it.

I guess the word "prophet" could have a predictive implication and science also makes "predictions" of sorts... In a spiritual sense it may mean the Prophets explain the phenomenau or answer the "Why" questions.

Well, my friends, I got it all wrong. No excuses.

Following your advise, Art, I found who was a singer.
She is a young Swedish performer Robyn and the name of the song is "Eclipse".

The part I misunderstood was,
"...Don't need prophets or preachers to make sense of the signs when the buried and hidden can be seen by the blind..."
Sorry for the confusion. I've learned my English lesson, another one.
