How Many Are Deceived?

Gal. 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

2 Cor. 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

The Bible makes it crystal clear that false prophets will come and pay lip service to the Lord but that through their words should expose their workings are false.

There are some religions that have had prophets that have made false prophecies but still continue to this day. How can a member of a religion adhere to these scriptures in light of such fallacies and still believe that their religion stands in God’s favor?

I'm guessing Christianity would have to be one of them

Based on Luke 9:27 (and Matthew 16:28) I would have to say Christianity falls into that group...

There is not one on the earth who has the big picture figured out.
Lots who say they do.
Many who have a nice mosaic of bits and pieces of what we could call truth though.

I think you're making an assumption, which I refuse to make one way or another, that there actually have been prophets and prophecies and that the Biblical prophecies were actually "fulfilled".
