Cheers to that. There is so much more to LHP and RHP, and other paths besides. It is the amalgamation and aggregation of right, wrong, divinity, equality, morality that destroys the richness of the human experience.

I was recently stopped outside my local grocery store by two college students working for some group promoting "equality." They went on and on about how we need to come together as a species under the flag of unity, equality, sexuality, etc. ad nauseum...

I asked them what happens to cultural diversity, tradition, and history when we're all one giant gray race of automatons happily plodding through our days of "one-ness" and proverbial harmony. They didn't have an answer for me.

I'm not a proponent of racism, sexism, or any other kind of ism that lumps people together as something less than they are, but peace, love, and understanding just aren't the answer. What is? I certainly don't have the answer to that, but I won't destroy what makes us unique for an existence free of conflict. Without it, we don't debate. We don't grow. We become stagnant.

this strikes a chord with my thoughts...there was a time i thought to myself...what is the point to become clone like and smile that is permanent on the face and everything nicey nicey...and we trod along...but what if that is not it..what if it is more like we have here on iff...ability to share ..and express and be...the painter will do so for the love of it..with out the ridicule of get a real job...or the wrestler now does so for the love it..and now instead of all the hoopla to if we are doing or saying or being what another thinks we should or should not..rather then to have the graph that we must fit on or not fit in...we now are able and the change is acceptance of such...the debates continue to share of our independent love of life and place we take up....we could even share the dislikes and that to be ok...lets not be zombie like...i must admit there are times i feel words are useless and doing much of anything according to some seem like not necessary or an illusion..again i think the boat is missed...i think the explanations are trying to express an easier way and words just dont cut it...experience does..and then there are those who i feel are trying to share how ones mind set can perhaps set up a way for an individual that is open to something out side the box to possibly experience something different an ability to see a new angle..or least perhaps better understand where anothers place is ...my rambling for the night...just thoughts...i notice often some would like the box open and sharing be there and perhaps some would like to find the lid to many a box and nail it shut...i say leave the lid off and let us discern for ourselves what we wish...yes...no...

I was a Bahai at one time..but one of my favorite phrases from then is "Unity in Diversity"....hmmmm interesting thought isn't it! It means accepting (not tolerating) each others differences without trying to change them and loving each as they are in order to be unified as a human race!

I see people allegorically as cells in a vast body. All will be different depending on the position they occupy. The most important thing to me is that a person is alive. That gives them value and meaning and worth to me.
If you are alive, you are important.
Even if you are confused.
