Cults

What makes a cult a cult? Why to you think people get caught up in them? How do you help someone get out of one? Have you ever know anyone who was caught up in a cult?

Judaism

We have to remember that Christianity started out as a cult that centered around Jesus.

For the most part....

..."cult" is a term of abuse; people throw it about rather carelessly, and apply it to any religion they do not like. have heard the Roman Catholic Church described as a "cult" by some....

I was raised in the Catholic Church and I used to have a horrible fear of Hell. All the guilt I felt could of been one of the reasons I'm a schizophrenic today. It felt like spiritual abuse to me.
