In The Image of God

Many believe that humans were made in the image of God. What exactly do you think that means?

This is not the best answer to such a good question but l can see that we are born of a male and female connection so assumingly our parents or biological creators were created the same way .

As we imagine going back farther and father and to the very beginning we are in uncertainty as where it starts as it is incorporated into the word 'infinity' and so we define 'infinity' as 'God" and put it to rest as non-threatening and helps provide an adaptive life in which we apparently die , God or no God,, and infinity or no infinity .

Hmmmnn l tried ,, ouch lol .

Let me tell it once more.
Now, I am in you and you are in me, which makes us One.
And what do we do? We enjoy journey of this life together!

If you believe it is the Truth, then lets love every bit of the given to us by us Time making the best of it.
And then, one day, I promise you, together, we will arise way beyond the concept of time, slowly submerging our minds into Playful Goodness adapting them to the Infinity.
That is the Purpose.

With love and respect,
A.Pinski,
A Citizen of the Earth, God.

EDIT ... " refreshing and innocent "

Image is thought. Imagination. As a comic creator, if I am working on a science fiction story, sometimes I will need to create and design alien races or species. I will use my imagination to accurately create different characters. This is the "image" that is often associated with that understanding (or misunderstanding).

If you think about it, isn't it amazing that so many ideas made by a person living in a rural part of the world 2500-3,000 years ago has affected the way many of us think or respond to?

Anyway, I'll tell you want I don't think it means. I don't think God is human and lives day to day as a thinking human being (sorry EH...). Rather, I think it means that the same capability that gives humans the ability to go to Pluto, or detect the early formation of galaxies, or determine what happened before the big bang, or understand how life originated, or contemplate the meaning of truth, or any of the creative aspects of humanity, are in some respect an image of the divine nature of God.

This sort of goes along with that, in Judaism, we are considered "co-creators" with God.

I think it refers not to physicality, but to our sapience.
