We go to a local butcher and purchase most all of our stuff there. Otherwise I get eggs that are organic, free range, or from the Abbey up the road. My chicken is free of antibiotics and other nasties.
Once my husband is out of the Navy and we get to where ever we are going I fully plan up on having chickens, and raising a calf or pig or two; just to keep the freezer full. Dependant of course, of where we end up, he is a sub nuke, so we will end up where the highest bidder is. At the moment that could be TN, MN, AZ, ....
