More Women Attracted to the Psychic Field?

When mrscardero and I attend the psychic dinners hosted at the Bavarian Manor, I couldn’t help but notice that there were more women than men. The men that were there usually did not participate in psychic readings either.

I also noticed that out of the six psychics that they hired for the evening, only one of them was a male.

During the minister meetings for The Universal Harmony Foundation that I use to attend out of the six people in attendance, I was the only male minister represented for that area.

After going to Lily Dale (a psychic community located in Northern New York), I noticed that I was also in the minority. Many of the tourists that gathered for the town’s assemblies were mostly women. A percentage of those were lesbian (maybe a discussion best left for another thread). When looking through the Lily Dale brochure, I noticed that the majority of the town’s psychic residents were women.

Most of the books on psychic development that are in my library are written by women.

Are women more attracted to the psychic field than men? Why is this? Do women make better psychics than men? If you were to take a psychc reading would you prefer to be read by a man or a woman? Are there studies done on this?

Maybe the question is, are women more interested in exploring the depth of their being than men are? Some men might feel it's not macho to be interested in psychics.

Judaism

I've noticed much the same when it comes to practicing yoga and meditation here in western society.

You know it may be the men in western culture are more prone to "practical hands on stuff" and not so attracted to the less than tangible.

When I went to school you used to find more males interested in say technology...engineering. Women were more into the arts and liberal studies but I'm sure there are exceptions though especially today.

Once I attended a seance at some acquaintence home and the whole thing rather turned me off royally.. I felt the proceedings played on peoples' gullibility and learned later that a few people before the seance actually tipped the medium off about what they knew about the people attending the seance...so the information was not from a spiritual source. A lot of spiritualist material in my view is well hardly credible.
