Satanism and sex

Satanism is pro-sexuality. Sexuality is a pure form of pleasure, something that satisfies our deepest purpose in life. Modern life allows us to enjoy sex without the risks of unplanned pregnancies and sexual diseases assuming that sense is taken. Which it should be. Satanism supports any fetish, kink or flavor of sexual encounter as long as all parties involved are consenting. Some people like quality, some people like quantity.

A number of essays and texts by LaVey concentrate on the use and expression of sexual energy, but as social tools and energy within ritual. Boyd Rice says 'LaVey understood that wasn't one cookie-cutter for everyone [...] Sexual freedom doesn't mean having as much sex as possible, it means having the kind of sex you want.' Our strongest emotions and desires are sexual, we are sexual beings, it drives and motivates us more than any other factor.

Our sexuality is fluid: It cannot be oppressed. Denying our sexuality simply causes it's waters to flow into other areas, sometimes in very unhealthy ways, honestly and expression fare much better than repression. Satanism is informed by modern and learned psychological, medical and scientific opinions on sex, there is no dogmatic principles or religious intolerance of sexuality within Satanism. It is very optimistic, positive and healthy: This can only be expected of such a carnal religion of the flesh such as Satanism!

So..how do Satanists take Gay sex...it looks like they are open to all forms as long as both...or all parties are consenting...and enjoying it?

It does exist AZgirl, although homosexuality is not common with LaVeyan Satanists.

A close friend of mine is a homosexual satanist. In fact, I know a great deal of GLBT Satanists from other forums. One thing that seems to be left out of LaVey's vague philosophies on sexuality is sexual responsibility. Any self-respecting Satanist knows that while sexuality is something to be enjoyed to its fullest, it is extremely important to revere its "power" and respect it. Responsible sexual practices are imperative not only for mutual safety and honesty, but for ethical (yes, Satanists have ethics) reasons as well.

The Satanists I affiliate with and converse with are not members of the LaVeyan Organization, so I cannot speak for the Official Church of Satan. However, sexuality is viewed as something extremely powerful and not to be taken lightly. So long as all parties involved are willing participants, of legal age, and human, sexuality is an empty canvas to be filled with whatever beauty or horrors the participants see fit to create.

We are not child molestors, rapists, or practicioners of beastiality. We may be "perverts" or "deviants" in the eyes of some, but we do not push our beliefs onto others. We only ask for the freedom to express ourselves sexually as we wish within the privacy of our own homes.
