I think the universe is the body of divinity.

Even the Gods I believe to be the divine children of the divinity.

Man's ignorance and arrogance would be my belief on it.

These are reasons to believe that human intellect is not the 'highest form'?

Even the Drake equation indicates that it is unlikely that mankind is the only intelligent life form that ever existed. If proof of this will to you only come in the form of a visitation, then you will never know for sure.

I guess it depends on how one defines intelligence but think about it... Almost everything that you see around you, including you, was created inside of stars. In 14 billion years the Universe has gone from a singularity to self aware through humans and what ever else is out there. To say that there is no greater intelligence at play in this universe would be ignorance IMHO.

Does it? I'm not familiar with it. What does it indicate in terms of higher intellects relative to humans? Is it anything like the formulae I've see recreated on t-shirts?

I'm a sceptic. I'll never know anything for sure.
