Question 'Seeing' the Big Bang ...

More of a cosmological question really, but still ...

I'm sure most of you are aware that when you look up into the night sky and see the stars, you are, in fact, seeing several million years into the past. This is because light, no matter its speed, takes time to travel from its source to our eyes.

Now supposing that one day someone invented a telescope of sorts that could see *soooo* far into the Universe, do you think you would eventually be able to witness the Big Bang actually happening 15 billions years ago (provided this actually happened)?

This is such a fantastic question that I have no idea how to answer it. LOL

I suspect that it will be possible to see very very far back ...... but never to witness the actual moment the big bang happened as time did not exist until the big bang did.

Hmmmmm...let me see....could it be possible to exist within the universe and at the same time look far back enough to see the point where the univesre was born ?..I just do not know.....one would be seeing outside the Universe whilst living inside it !! ....*scratches head again*...I'm still struggling with the concept of a possibe ' outside ' to the universe...there is no outside...ooooh !!...Thanks for the head ache !! LOL

REX....Rex should be good for this one...he knows a lot about spacey stuff !!

I believe that everyone of us has seen and experienced Big Bangs when we left wombs of our mothers. And only those of us can become immortal who can recall the Event with no fear in their hearts and with full responsibility to accept the fact that we had become whole worlds, universes, gods.

See, we often think instead of feel. We often think of technology like some kind of Power which would open the door of the Purpose forgetting to feel that we are already possessing the mightiest power in every universe of the infinity - Love - the key to the Purpose.

Answering your Question, the strength of our wills and the powers of our minds will become incomprehensibly higher in their developments than Technology. We wouldn't see the reason why we should be interested to witness the Birth of the Universe using technology, because the Knowledge of the Event would be within us.

The powers of our minds will open our eyes to the Past but not to the extend to have a look at the Big Bang, which I call, the Absolute Past of our Universe. Although We WILL have these abilities to look at the Big Bang, but we WILL NOT use them while we are united with our Bodies because of the presence of higher understanding that our lives after that will loose their purposes. They will become absolutely boring with no challenges perpetual Happinesses.

However,we will exercise our powers to see the Absolute Past and to create a brand new Big Bang, another Universe, Absolute Future, only when we abandon our bodies, our homes for a moment accepting this ability as a relaxing and secure temporary vacation, knowing that at any time we can return to the Beautiful Challenge of Unknown, to the great, exciting test living in Mortal Body.

But remember, these powers only work when you go naturally and you live your life as close to absolute love as possible. When you did it all like God suppose to do, when you lived for the sake of Love without making any compromises with the Fear of Mortality - then and only then you are eligible for the Vacation.

If not, if you did believe in Love, but couldn't find strength to feel and to spread it out. Or, if you believed in False and Instant Gratification living your life submitting yourself to the Desires of your Body - you wouldn't be able to look at Big Bang and no telescope in the world would be able to help you. You would have to return to human body and start it all over trying to make it right this time.

That's a very nice post above by Pinksi.

One also thing to bear in mind re: the cold science of it is that at the time of the big bang, there was just one minute particle...and therefore no medium for which it could be observed through. Additionally, the first few many tens of thousand of years it was so hot that the opaqueness would make it impossible to view and also, there's also the red shift factor to deal with. The expansion of the universe is so fast that it's impossible to catch up !!....

I was having another "tunnel experience" [which is like a NDE without the ND] when I witnessed something that could have been like the big bang.

It looked somewhat like a human brain and this picture:

The whole thing was mainly dark blue and it had a band around the two hemispheres, which were not perfectly symmetrical. Then I heard a sound of a muffled explosion. It was a lot like the sound effect in the old show Wonder Woman when she spun around and turned into WW. Then there was a bright flash of yellow light and my eyes flung open and the vision ended but the sound of the explosion rang on for a few seconds.

Perhaps it happened because the two spheres were NOT perfectly symmetrical. I'm not a scientist so I don't know the details of the BB theory.

Perhaps this "vision" could be explained scientifically as just a visual projection of something that was going on inside MY brain, a neurological event of sorts. After I had this "vision," my brain almost failed as though it were an overclocked CPU working on overload for a couple of weeks. [I got lost while driving in very familiar territory without any explanation...]

Past and future--what a concept! In Western thought we tend to think of "the past" as behind us and "the future" in front of us. But there are other cultures which view the past as being in front of us, because we can see it, and the future as being behind us, because we can't see it.

Just thought I'd mention that.

I have written a decent article on time, its function, and how present, past, and future relate. I am often in a semi-nonlinear time state. I don't know where to post it, either science or general discussion... Basically time is an illusion whose purpose is to allow for a transition used for processing to occur. Processing is the top function and without time, processing wouldn't occur for reality would just be in the present. Time is a gift [to allow for processing] and a curse [we all know why]... I have also learned that death of the body is just one more transition; however, that transition is done as to minimize trauma. Well, that article is coming as soon as I get internet access at home... I can't really bring the article to this library unless I want to type it all up again...

cheers,
BIyphe

That's probably deeper than you think. The world is made different by each birth. Everyone effects the world. Therefore, your birth created a new world. The world you live in didn't exist before you were born.
