Jaiket:>>Dawkins is attacked frequently. What of his ideas conerning evolutionary biology bring him to the front for attack?<<
He's quite assertive, although there's a fine line between "assertive" and "aggresive". It's interesting that some theists consider him the latter, but yet they cannot see their own aggresiveness when the proslytize. >>Do you believe evolution is inherently a flawed science?<< Not inherently. Certainly there will be mistakes made, but that's true of any human endeavor. The fact that there has been an evolutionary process is well established and it's a shame that there are some who simply will not even consider seriously looking into what information is out there. >>Do you adhere to group selectionism?<< Evolution does not confine itself to just individuals, but involves a process that is interwoven with the entire environment, including the social environment. By chance have you read "The God Delusion" by Dawkins? Shalom, Vern |
