I actually remember learning about this in college (in an Islamic history classes). Many of the other things that you have posted I remember learning about as well.

Muslim history is some of the most fascinating things for children to hear about, I know because I was once a child being fascinated by the many stories. I have always loved hearing/reading about anything I could about Muslim history, and not just the Mulsim history, also the histories of all the differnt kinds of people who claim the Muslim religion now. Thats a very nice link... ![]() |

Indeed. In fact, MOST stars are either double, triple, or multiple star systems. Single stars are unusual in the galaxy. Of course, many of the stars (virtually all of the stars) in the big dipper are not "in" the big dipper. Seen from the side, most would be unassociated. |

most welcome
Thank you all for your wonderful comments and appreciating the facts and figures about muslims and Islam. Well, the knowledge and learning even existed before Islam and we have several evidences about the existance of them in pre-Islamic age especially 4000 years ago in Egypt which was ruled by the Kings and the period of Moses(pbuh) when the divine messege of God and the wordly knowledge both was present.
The pyramid shaped structures, and other structures built in Egypt is an evidence of existance of knowledge and civilizations. The monjhodaro(a historical and ancient place) situated in Pakistan was discovered in 80s by the civil engineers who were constructing a bridge and stopped the construction in that area after discovering some ancient items like coins, silver and pots. After investigation, they revealed the facts and figures about Monjhodaro which was 4000 years old flourishing city with a drainage system and irrigation canals , they had there own community centre for settling their issues. They had public baths, toy stores and prisons and many other things, and now it is visited by many european and other tourists. The Romans and Greece was also a nation with knowledge ,Greek Philosophy, Poetry and other literature was there legacy which was later amended by the Muslims of the Medival Times and introduced there known philosophy called "Islamic Philosophy". The irrigation canals in manghodaro is an evidence proving that the inhabitants of this place 4000 years ago worked in agricultural areas and cultivation was a source of there income.
According to the study of archeologists, this place was struck by a mega earthquake which distroyed the entire city or caused it to sink under the land. May be Prophets or Messengers of God might have been sent in this region to guide these people but because of their continuous and consistent rejection of the messege , God distroyed this nation by earthquake as a punishment. Do you guys know that Prophet Adam(pbuh)'s foot prints are under the Indian Ocean near Sir Lanka? Regards, |
