Dimensions Beyond Our Senses

I heard this statement today.

Quote:
Quantum physicists have discovered dimensions that are beyond our senses.

What do you think? If there are dimensions beyond our senses, how were they discovered?

i believe it was through complex equations... and guesses. a lot of their theories are just answers to questions, or problems they have. some of what i read makes sense... some just seems like ummmmm... for a lack of a better term... crazy talk haha!

besides... there are some handicaped person who cant sense certain things but know theyre there

Lightkeeper, are you certain you heard the word "discovered"? I have some recent books dealing with quantum mechanics and they essentially state the concept of parallel universes ("dimensions") as still being hypothetical.

I think that there are other dimentions out there somewhere, but I don't think that we have the technology to discover them yet. I think that we may find more scientific or mathmatical evidence that these dimentions exist, but we haven't traveled there yet. And isn't that a part of discovering?

Lk ya would think with all the advanced technology out there we would be able to see beyond the sense would be interesting though

Again, I'd recommend watching the film "What the Bleep Do We Know: Further Down the Rabbit Hole." The film explains some Quantum Theories in layman's terms. FASCINATING stuff!

Theoretical physicists did most of the search in Quantum Physics some 60 years or more ago, with the work of Niels Bohr. It was originally long sequences of equations along with some rational speculation. It was also partly based on the observation of the spontaneous appearance and disappearance of particles. I am not a physicist and admit that I only understand a fraction of it. Recent specials on telly have indicated a coinciding of superstring energy theory and quantum physics.

Since it cannot be fully proven to most of us who use common sense, it remains hypothetical and rational speculation. Common sense can make no sense but we humans see things in our 5 animal senses. Because it does not make sense to our animal senses or common sense, does not make it false. We can not directly experience cosmic rays or neutrinos but we can "see" them with advanced technology. I don't thing we will see 11 dimensions or parallel universes in the near future. It is not fact but reasonable speculation.

To primitive mankind, lacking in any science, the hypothesis of spirits acting on the material world, was reasonable speculation but not fact. We have disproven thousands of spirits with scientific method. God has not been disproven although He/It is no longer necessary as an explanation.

If you liked that, then let me recommend the book "Parallel Universes" by Cambridge professor Michio Kaku, who's considered one of the top researchers on the subject. A difficult read, but well worth the agony.

Vern

La La Land

O.K. I admit it:

I AM IN LA LA LAND

The air is clean up here, the sight clear. Abundance flows where ever you look and there is no such thing as suffering. But the best is still yet to come: There is room for ALL!!!!

Anyone care to join?

If there are different dimensions, then we can experience them here on earth, in this life time. If we but open our mind to the possibility of it and our heart to receiving. Jesus said NOW is the time and come as you are. Leave the past behind you. What was... is dead and only the dead dwell in the past.
