Searcher UFO's and Aliens

Recently I heard someone say that seeing a UFO is a hallucination? Do you believe in UFO's and alien abductions? Or, are we longing for our counterparts in outer space like a twin longs for a lost twin?

No, I do not believe in UFO's and alien abductions. But I do believe that one can see and experience them. A lot of people believe in Illness and disease, does that make them "real"? There are no limitations to what our mind can create.

I have never heard of "longing for our counter parts". What would that be?

I went out one night and had a very small amount to drink, i left the inn at around 10:30pm, and got home (according to Mum the next day) at around 11:45pm. The journey was just over a mile, i usually walked it in 25 minutes, but i drove that night.

When discussing this with a friend, he knew said that an acquaintance had exactly the same time-loss on the same road a week or two before.

There are other factors involved which make me believe that i really did experience a genuine time-loss.

I really have no explanation for this, but i know it happened, and the odd thing is that it was Mum that remarked on it, i never even noticed.

....and no, i wasn't drunk, two glasses of port was all i had.

The obvious explanation does come to mind, but - i don't think aliens exist - other than in a psychic sense.

In the Hudson Valley we had quite a flap for several years in the mid 80's. Over 10,000 people of all different professions sighted and reported a large boomerang craft coasting in the skies of Orange. Putnam and Westchester County. Some people were fortunate to obtain video footage. All of these people could not be hallucinating.

I definitely think there's something going on - I agree with you cardero that it makes no sense for so many people to make stuff up just for the heck of it. That also goes for OBE's and NDE's as well as spiritual experiences. I think anything's possible...... And who's to say we're not "hallucinating" our own realities?

I saw one when I was in the 5th grade and will never forget it! The next day there was an article in the paper about all these people that had seen it. The authorities tried to dismiss it as "swamp gas". What I saw was very real!

Coming to think about it, I recall right before the light hitting my forehead that I thought of an UFO. Maybe aliens bring us enlightenment? LOL

There was an hour show one time concentrating on abdcutions cases where the abductees had actually been better off from their experiences. They showcased 4. 15 minute segments focusing on witnesses who were cured of an established physical ailment. My favorite was the guy who was a smoker and after his experinece he never touched a cigarette again. That's pretty inspiring. Makes you wonder what other technological, theological, medical and philosophical perspectives that they have that they could offer to humankind.
