Spirits

Well, what exactly are spirits? Well, they are different things to different people. But every time, they are an energy that gives us life. When I first started dealing with the spirits some 10 years ago. I was still stuck on my catholic perception of the "soul." After experience, I have finally been able to understand the way our spirits are shaped, and how they act, relate, etc...

This is a basic outline of what our spirits look like (in my perception).
*Keep in mind, the colors are simply for labeling which sphere is which. In no way are these spheres actually the colors as pictured.

The 8 Energy Spheres

1. The Core sphere

The soul, Dan Tien

2. The Front sphere

Positive emotions: love, joy, etc...

3. The Back sphere

Negative emotions: hate, fear, etc...

4 The Top sphere

Mentality: dreaming, faith, etc...

5. The Bottom sphere

Mentality: grounding, logic, etc...

6 / 7. The Right and Left spheres

Fellowship, tolerance, etc...

8. The Outer sphere

Encompassment of them all.

This is very similar to NA and Shaman beliefs, Dan. The shaman beliefs are that there are a number of different types of spirits, and the power animals and animal guides can be thought of as spirits too, since they live in the spirit realms. Ourwardly, to most who don't know a great deal about shamanism, that is what sets a shaman apart...they have the ability to enter the spirit realm at will.

I look forward to seeing more posts here!

Thanks Rex. It's true, my study of Shamanism does peak through a little in my work. I will have some more lessons coming soon since I have access once more. I look forward to your comments.
