Today I saw God,
In my sweet new granson...
In seeing my oldest daughters happy face as she took her baby in her arms after being camping all weekend... In seeing how much my daughters Atheist boyfriend shows signs of being so much in love with my daughter... In my grandson's Atheist dad who broke down to let him stay with me for the long weekend... In waking up to birds singing outside my window... I saw love on Saturday, when the Church of God bought chili bowl lunchs to everyone in our trailer park... In my husbands pleasure at making me and our girls happy... In my 17 year old daughter who still loves to hug and hang onto a big old stuft animal... In my 15 year olds embarrased face as my husband teases her for going outside to swing near a boy her age who has to watch his younger brothers and sisters out there...

In everyone and everything I see...
today in particular... my grandchildren...my new kitty...the thunderstorm...the cool breeze..in the healing of a sick friend....what a beautiful world..what a beautiful God...

Today I saw God in the joy of a friend as they passed me on the tennis court with a winner down the line. The joy was so lovely, I just had to join in. In that moment, there was no loser.
It is good to take a moment everyday to see God everywhere, in everything, and in everyone ….and to give thanks to God for our blessings and our burdens and for everything that has led us to this moment and presented us this cup filled with love and opportunity. Gary
