In the tradition of zen, and as it has been presented here, i question the meaning of Dr. Suzuki's statement regarding beginner's mind/experts mind....i would ask him who of his fellow students of the same master did he unlearn the most from?

I don't understand the meaning of that quote. Are you saying that everything is imagination but science a limited form of it?

Pretty much, yeah. It's a mistake to think science proceeds along linear lines and careful research. Most big leaps in human understanding are intuitive and not the result of logic extrapolating from what is already known.
