The blogger had a good point about expectations.

I would also say that labeling people interferes with connecting. Out of fear we want to categorize people. We put them in a familiar slot so we can be comfortable.

Being judgmental is another way to keep from connecting. Staying open to whatever with acceptance is a way to deeply connect to another person.

Yes, L.K. Great post and I agree with the points you made. What stands out to me is jugdment...which I feel is just another word for labeling. Also as the article points out, expectations is often the cause of suffering, loss and grief. If we didn't expect anything from eachother... ever day shared would simply be a blessing : )
