That one doesn't have to be doing the thing called sitting still in order to do the process called meditating.
|

As I understand it the cycles of nature are important to Taoists.
So meditation, like all things, has a cycle. It seems to me in this story the Taoist was following his cycle for mediation and the Zen practitioner his cycle. Each did what was best for them and their practices. |
