Friend

God, my truest friend, is my ever-present counselor and guide.
Friends are a blessing, adding fullness to my life. My friends and I may
share a common history, an understanding, or a belief in one another. These
special people also share in my enjoyment of life and add richness to my
experiences. I may have many acquaintances or a few dear ones to share my life with, but
each one of us has a sacred companion in common—God, our truest friend.

God is indeed my friend. Never limited by time or distance, God is present
within me. God is with me every minute of the day as my ever-present counselor,
my guide. God is my encouragement and my unfailing support. I trust God with
my secret hopes and my most extravagant dreams, and I release to God all fear
and difficulty. God loves me always. The love of God is my strength, my peace, and my joy.
