Cool Gratitude Journal

Thursday, January 4, 2007 - Gratitude

"Keep a grateful journal. Every night, list five things that you are grateful for.
What it will begin to do is change your perspective of your day and your life."
~Oprah Winfrey

Today's Affirmation

I am aware of the presence and movement of God in my life.
Today's Meditation

Dear God,

We are grateful for these moments of prayerful connection.
When we take time to notice,
we realize that You are everywhere present in our days and in our lives.
As we join in a consciousness of heartfelt gratitude,
we recall the many blessings we have received.
May we in turn be a blessing to someone today.
We are an integral part of a powerful circle of love.
Thank You, God!

Amen

See that little girl in the top left corner? That's my granddaughter. Thanks to the early detection of prostate cancer, chances are pretty good that I'll live to see her grow up. "Grateful" is an understatement.
